Local and Global Mission

Get to know more about what makes us different

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
 ~Acts 1:8 ESV

Locally On Mission:
We believe that every follower of Jesus is called to be on mission to reach others with the Gospel.  Therefore, we want to train and equip the believers that make up TPC to be missionaries for the Gospel where they live, work and play.

We also believe in partnering with others:
West End Elementary Partnership
Dream Center Partnership: Shine Soup Kitchen and Basketball Ministries
Orphan Ministry Partnership: This ministry is just beginning @ TPC.  God is stirring His people    towards adoption and foster care.
Discover Church in Myrtle Beach, SC Partnership
Reconcile Church in Greenville, SC Partnership
Globally On Mission
One of the reasons TPC aligns and is a part of the Southern Baptist Convention is we believe we can reach the world with the Gospel by partnering together.  One of the ways is through the International Mission Board https://www.imb.org.  This enables us to partner with churches all over the nation to fully fund approximately 5,000 fully supported missionaries all over the world.

Other Global Partners:
Glorious Fellowship Ministries, Zimbabwe Africa

Then Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
     ~Matthew 28:18,20 ESV
